Meet Hunter

Hunter Vaughan (he/him/his),

Hunter Vaughan serves as the Director of the Department of Campus Life and Student Experiences on the Cabinet of the Richards Administration.

Hunter is a junior from Bermuda Run, NC double majoring in Business Administration and Public Policy with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. On campus and in the area, he is involved with the Kenan-Flagler Nonprofit & Public Sector Club, serves as the Philanthropy Chair for Alpha Sigma of Chi Psi, and as a youth baseball coach at South Durham Little League. During the 2020-2021 academic year, he took a stop-out year to work with Because Baseball, a nonprofit based in Cairo, Egypt.

Hunter’s goals for this upcoming year are to help students feel connected and plugged in, bridge gaps in social networks within the student body, review the accessibility and state of campus infrastructure, pursue the goals set forth in the administration’s platform, and organize opportunities to make campus a place that fosters connection and excitement as we safely transition back toward in-person experiences.
