Our Mission
The Environmental Affairs Department is dedicated to advancing sustainability, environmental justice, and student-led climate action at UNC. We aim to amplify student voices on environmental challenges we face on campus, while teaching students about topics like public health, clean energy, and environmental justice issues.
Our efforts will promote sustainable infrastructure and conservation by fostering collaboration and addressing key campus policies. Through proactive planning, policy advocacy, and inclusive engagement, we seek to build a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable UNC.
