Good Neighbor Initiative Block Party

Now in its ninth year, the year-round Good Neighbor Initiative encourages UNC-Chapel Hill students who live off campus to meet their neighbors and work with them to build community and keep neighborhoods clean and safe.
The Good Neighbor Block Party will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Hargraves Community Center, 216 N. Roberson St.
The block party is designed to help neighbors meet each other and socialize in an evening of friendship, delicious free food, live music, games, raffle prizes and more. Food will be provided by BUNS, Ben & Jerry’s and McAlisters. Children’s activities are presented by LOVE Chapel Hill and Kidzu Children’s Museum.
