Addison Truzy
Director, Housing Task Force
Addison Truzy, Director of the Housing Task Force, is a junior majoring in Political Science and Advertising Public Relations with a minor in African American and Diaspora Studies. She enjoys her role because housing has had a profound impact on her experience at UNC, and she is eager to leverage her passion to create positive change and enhance student experiences on campus. She loves to dance in her free time. She has been dancing for 16 years, and on campus, she dances on the Kazi dance team as well as teaches hip-hop cardio dance classes.
Our Mission
The Housing Task Force works to address critical challenges facing UNC students in securing affordable, accessible, and quality housing. Our initiatives focus on expanding on-campus housing options, improving off-campus rental conditions, and advocating for policies that protect student housing rights.

Recent Initiatives
The task force has successfully advocated for increased on-campus housing construction, developed comprehensive guides for off-campus renters, and established partnerships with local housing organizations to support students in need.
