Subj: Department of Computer Science Program Enrichment Fee Inquiry
Dear all,
I hope you are doing well. My name is Aashna Shukla, and I serve as the Undergraduate Treasurer for the Executive Branch of Student Government this coming year. I, along with my Graduate and Professional Student Government counterpart Julia Nevison, became aware of a concern surrounding the $300.00 Program Enrichment Fee for computer science students. There seems to be several inquiries regarding this fee’s usage within the Department, and we were hoping to gain more information to that end. Would you be able to provide us with a breakdown of how the fee is specifically being utilized to support the Department?
Additionally, student leaders have been informed in the past that the Department might have had the intent to create a fee oversight board composed of computer science students when the Program Enrichment Fee was created, but we have not been able to find any information about this board within the Department. We would appreciate any insight on the existence of this board and/or its activities.
Best,
Aashna Shukla
