Katherine Fiore, Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Body President, is a senior majoring in History and Public Policy. Katherine is a visionary leader, dedicated to being an advocate for others and to making changes and policies for the good of UNC students. During Katherine’s free time she enjoys traveling, visiting beautiful museums, and attending dance and theatre performances in New York.

Nicholas Swisher
Chief of Staff to the Undergraduate Student Body Vice President
Nicholas (Nick) Swisher, Chief of Staff to the Undergraduate Student Body Vice President, is a sophomore majoring in Public Policy and Political Science. Nick serves as the Chief of Staff to the Undergraduate Student Body Vice President, and is dedicated to making a meaningful impact through thoughtful policy work. In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his friends, exploring new outdoor places, and running.
Aakash Palathra
Chief Legal Deputy to the Undergraduate Student Vice President
Aakash Palathra, Chief Legal Deputy to the Undergraduate Student Vice President, is a sophomore majoring in Public Policy and Global Studies. Aakash finds fulfillment in translating complex policy challenges into tangible solutions directly benefiting fellow students. He is energized by the role’s combination of strategic problem-solving and student advocacy, particularly enjoying the opportunity to work across different levels of administration to create meaningful change on campus. Aakash enjoys experimenting with different coffee brewing methods, capturing life through polaroid photography, and discovering new music across genres.
Casey Schwartz
Director of University Affairs and Executive Assistant
Casey Schwartz, Director of University Affairs and Executive Assistant, is a freshman who is a Pre-Business and Computer Science major. He enjoys his role because he enjoys being a part of such a major organization on campus where he truly makes a difference. As he embarks on this new adventure, he is excited to be surrounded by role models and peers sharing similar interests as his own. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family or friends and listening to different types of music.
Lucas Searles
Director of External Appointments
Lucas Searles, Director of External Appointments, is a senior majoring in Political Science and Spanish for the Legal Professions with a minor in Spanish Translation and Interpretation. He is excited to be in this role because he gets to work with the most innovative and driven students here at UNC, and he has a hands-on role in finding students who will leave the most positive impact behind after their time here on campus. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling and is looking forward to spending a couple of years abroad post-graduation.
AnnaGrace Reynolds
Director of Hardship Parking and Executive Assistant to the Vice President
AnnaGrace Reynolds, Director of Hardship Parking and Executive Assistant to the Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Body, is a first year majoring in Political Science and Public Policy with a minor in Neuroscience. She enjoys her role as she has a heart to serve others and finds joy in supporting the community around her. A fun fact about AnnaGrace is she went to the Junior Olympics for water polo.
