Kavita Chaudhary is a junior studying Business Administration and Information Science. She enjoys being a part of the Office of Budget and Management because it allows her to contribute to meaningful decision-making while gaining insight into how resources are allocated to support campus initiatives. She particularly likes her role blending analytical thinking with real-world impact. In her free time, she loves trying new things, from traveling to meeting new people and dancing.

Our Mission
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) ensures financial operations of student government are carried out with transparency, efficiency, and accountability. Our mission is to strengthen the foundation of student government by responsibly managing its budget, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring resources are used to maximize the impact of initiatives serving the student body.
By combining careful oversight with long-term planning, we help student government achieve its goals while maintaining fiscal sustainability.

Reviewing Funding Requests
Evaluating requests from within the executive branch, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize student impact.
Advising Departments
Helping departments implement their initiatives responsibly with sound financial planning and budget management.
Financial Reporting
Creating clearer financial reporting structures so the student body better understands how student government funds are invested.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Working with other cabinet departments to align financial management with their projects and strategic goals.
