Aynsley Szczesniak
Director, STEM Task Force
Aynsley Szczesniak is a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Entrepreneurship. She enjoys her role because she leads a fantastic team and she enjoys having the platform to initiate needed conversations about the biggest challenges faced by STEM students. The voices of STEM students have been absent from student government conversations for some time, and she is honored to be entrusted with bringing more visibility to their concerns. In her free time, she loves sketching and is currently working on hands and eyes.

The STEM Task Force advocates for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programs. We work to address unique challenges facing STEM students, from laboratory access and course scheduling to research opportunities and career preparation.

Advocating for equitable course scheduling and registration processes for STEM majors.

Supporting underrepresented students in STEM fields through mentoring and community building.

Addressing mental health challenges specific to rigorous STEM programs and coursework.
